Remote Regional Shipping Coordinator

About the Role

<p>As a Remote Regional Shipping Coordinator you will serve as the operational backbone for one of our high-volume North American fulfillment corridors. You will liaise between origin depots, in-transit relay stations, and final-mile delivery teams to ensure seamless cargo movement. This is a contract role with strong potential for conversion to a permanent position based on performance.</p>

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipment scheduling across assigned regional routes
• Communicate with depot managers, carriers, and clients to resolve delays
• Monitor real-time GPS tracking dashboards and flag anomalies
• Maintain shipment documentation accuracy (AWB, customs declarations, BOL)
• Escalate on-hold or returned consignments per SLA timelines
• Prepare daily route performance and incident summary reports
• Liaise with customs brokers for cross-border shipments into Canada and Mexico

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or supply chain
• Strong understanding of North American freight lanes and carrier networks
• Proficiency with TMS (Transport Management Systems) or similar platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple time zones
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated home office setup

Nice to Have

• Experience with last-mile courier operations
• Knowledge of Incoterms and commercial invoice requirements
• Familiarity with bonded warehouse procedures
• Bilingual English/French or English/Spanish is a plus
